I am a UK-based textile and mixed media artist. I particularly enjoy working with dyes, yarns and fabrics and have been focusing in the past year on simply playing with these and seeing what results.  I have been a knitter since childhood but only learned to crochet (after many failed attempts!) a couple of years ago.  Having finally got to grips with the crochet hook I have become an addict and have made countless toys, scarves, garments and brooches in thelast two years. In recent months I have also been working on combining colour, texture, design and fabulous yarns to make unique and beautiful shawls.

I am a member of
Threads, a textile artists group based in Brighton & Hove.  I have exhibited work in the Threads "Identity" Exhibition at The Grange Gallery, Rottingdean, East Sussex in April 2007 and in the Threads Textile Open House as part of May 2007's Brighton Fringe Festival.

On these pages you'll find some of my favourite examples of my work.  I hope you like what you see.  If you do (and if you don't!), please sign my guest book and let me know what you think.

Most of what you see here is for sale.  If you are interested in purchasing anything, please send me a message via the contacts page.

A note about the moongazer

The moongazer is the magical hare who, in eastern cultures, is believed to live in the moon. Try looking for him the next time you see a full moon. If you want to know more about the mythology of the moongazer, have a look at the "Links" page.
